See you there.... https://www.pitlochry.info/events/2

Pitlochry is a beautiful town bordering the highlands and offering quaint shopping with several local churches, a small hospital and many guest houses. It is riddled with good people although embarrassingly naive, like so many small towns and villages. Waving foreign flags and promoting terror groups safe in the knowledge that ACTUAL interaction with such groups would be non-existent. It reminds me of the words of pastor Martin Niemöller in 1946, reflecting on the war and his fellow Germans actions.

We get so many bots and spam artists trying to join. We are a local community based message board. So local businesses and people can access each other directly and without prejudice. Too join you must have a link to Pitlochry, you must provide a picture of yourself and a name with an email.

Regarding the homeless fella in #Pitlochry, as reported his name is Paul and it seems his career is being homeless and playing on the sensibilities of others. If basic terms a scammer. His back story from #Aviemore should be a lesson, but still I still people commenting, "he seems really nice" and "he was very polite..." Basic rules of scamming. I don't want to be harsh, but if you encourage this behavior there will be more. Whether playing music outside the Co-op or begging on the High Street. Empathy is based in a good place, but these people know your virtue is your downfall.

Living in Pitlochry has it's complications, primarily the weather. A lot of people struggle with 'Seasonal Affective Disorder' SAD for short. https://www.nhs.uk/mental-health/conditions/seasonal-affective-disorder-sad/overview/

Okay let's get this party started. All those interested we have a group on Whatsapp to help create the No1 community focused content in and around the great Town of Pitlochry. https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb6HB7Z6rsQzbdclNt2t

So after the local co-op debacle, surely it highlights that Pitlochry needs another large store option!!

October 30th 2025, the date that marks the end of an era in Pitlochry. The last bank in the town closes after 'The Bank of Scotland' announced multiple closures. Sad day. 😔 #localnews https://ere.re/dXW

Stay safe Pitlochry, going to be a wet and windy day or two here. Don't take any risks, stay off the roads and stay warm. Also keep an eye on those neighbors that need a little extra support. We are a #community it makes us #strong

Thanks for the business to the team at https://www.pitlochry.info/pages/themoulinhall
