Pitlochry is a beautiful town bordering the highlands and offering quaint shopping with several local churches, a small hospital and many guest houses. It is riddled with good people although embarrassingly naive, like so many small towns and villages. Waving foreign flags and promoting terror groups safe in the knowledge that ACTUAL interaction with such groups would be non-existent. It reminds me of the words of pastor Martin Niemöller in 1946, reflecting on the war and his fellow Germans actions.
